The Travelocity Roaming Gnome is on another adventure, and this time he has been seen at various Starwood Vacation resorts all across the country. Thirteen resorts will offer Roaming Gnome scavenger hunts to guests, and those who can find him will be eligible for prizes. Roaming Gnomes will be in hidden spots throughout the resort, and resort guests will receive a clue sheet with hints on possible hiding places for the elusive gnome. Those who are lucky and crafty enough to discover all of his hiding places will be entered into a grand prize drawing to win six days and five nights at a Starwood Vacation resort, along with two airline tickets worth up to 750 each. The Sheraton Mountain Vista Resort is located two hours from Denver in Avon, Colorado, at the entrance to Beaver Creek Ski Resort. Vail Village and Ski Resort, Nottingham Lake, the Eagle River, and the Avon Recreation Center are nearby. Slopes are less than one mile away. Other attractions include Vilar Center for the Arts (two miles), the Colorado Ski Museum (nine miles), and Ford Park and Vail Fine Art Gallery (10 miles). The resort is 26 miles from Eagle County Regional Airport.
